The Market in Essoera was different from the one in Rabat. In Essoera there were defined halls fro food, spices, jewellery, whereas Rabat the food vendors were on the street mixed in among the dry goods. the beads and shoes hung in racemes from the doorways. I am returning to Rabat in December, I'll take new photos with this project in mind.

Embedding the collage; As this develops I find I am thinking of memory's, how they merge. The images I thought I was looking for; the tiles, even the carpets, are becoming less important and its the journey through the space that interests me. The dark and light, (as ever) the object are secondary.
