well that's done now, only sold a couple,- but apparently that's not bad....on to the next thing....
I've set up a still life in the corner of the studio, red velvet cloth, a skull I found the other day walking the dog and a cracked birds egg, should enjoy that.. nothing profound, just red and white.
I'm gonna take some photos on Friday of my friend Noelle in her kitchen for the next series. I've been planing it for months, her red hair, bright dresses and cream and white kitchen with whatever food she is preparing... yum, then the photos have to sit on my wall for ages, then its time to begin.

back from Madrid
I have just had a few days in Madrid to charge my art batteries.
Saw some great stuff, Gurnica at the Reina Sofia gallery,
The wonderful, marvelous Velazquez at the Prado Museum,- I cried for joy.
Finally a fantastic Monet exhibition at the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza where they looked at Monet as the father of abstraction and juxtaposed his work with Rothko, de Kooning, Gerhard Richter, Helen Frankenthaler and Jackson Pollock's among others,- then on and on around the permanent collection , wow, never ending, around every corner fantastic examples of every genre, work from early 14th century art till the present day.
I'm knackered.
